|Redefining space through design, innovation, and artistry|
Recently, On a trip to Ireland, I was sitting in the garden on the grounds of a beautiful Irish Castle. I snapped this picture in an effort to capture the moment and all the texture and color that surrounded me. I do this quite often as I have traveled around the world. My mind became filled with ideas for textile designs and paintings. Reflecting now back on the picture I am amazed at the abundance of texture, pattern, color, and the juxtaposition of this hard classical structure rising through the plants and flowers. It reminded me of the value of a tactile experience within space. One that draws a visitor in, wanting and encouraging them to engage with the space. That places that capture such quality unite the human experience with space and place.
