But First Coffee- Inspiration for living a creative life, is a series I created to share ideas and inspire you to live a meaningful creative life. In this episode, I will be discussing the importance of connecting with nature. There is so much we can take inspiration from when we connect with nature. It also helps to reduce stress. Who doesn't want to be less stressed and inspired!!
One of the reasons I decided to spend more quality time up in Pennsylvania is because it's a place that I've always loved to go to get outdoors and explore. I used to spend so many hours just exploring the property and just really connecting with nature.
I think there's so much that you can take from your experience with the outdoors. Not just getting exercise but getting out into the outside world and taking the time to, hear, see, smell, connect with all the things around you.
In the mornings when it's not freezing cold outside, I will go walk down the driveway. I love hearing the sound of the creek trickling underneath the driveway. Sometimes I'll just stand there with my cup of coffee and the dogs will be running around casing frogs. It is a great way to take in the sounds and smells of the day. To kind of rejuvenate before getting busy driving around dealing with other people having to answer emails, I hope you will go and do something outside to inspire yourself to connect with nature and to either start or finish your day, perhaps even take your lunch break to just get outside.
I hope this week, you will be inspired to get out and connect with nature! Have a wonderful day!
